Started in 2009, the DrupalEasy Podcast is a weekly review of new developments and announcements in the worldwide Drupal community with regular appearances by notable Drupal community contributors. Rotating co-hosts Andrew Riley, Anna Kalata, Kelley Curry, Michael Anello, Ryan Price, and Ted Bowman bring their collected experience and geeky obsessions to the virtual airwaves to enlighten, inform, and (sometimes) entertain Drupal hobbyists and professionals around the world.
I took over editing this podcast starting with Season 14, when the podcast was in its 14th year. I have since edited the 14th, 15th, and 16th season. This recurring job gives me a lot of experience editing vocals, especially different kinds of dialogue recorded in very different spaces. Because it is recorded virtually, there is no telling what kind of space that the guest is sitting in, and most times some EQ and adjustments are necessary. I consult for the host, Michael Anello (my dad), on his setup, recording techniques, and microphone to help him sound professional.
